Hell’s Kitchen Season 6 Episode 1 Recap

TEAM CHALLENGE: Signature Dishes

The contestants were divided in two teams: red and blue team. Girls were red team and boys were blue team. Each of them must present their signature dish for Chef Gordon Ramsay’s approval. The team with the most dishes approved wins this challenge.

Winner: Blue Team

Since blue team won the challenge they will have a lunch at Hell’s Kitchen, and dishes to be served to them were from Ramsay’s London West Hollywood restaurant while the red team will clean those dirty kitchens.

One order for capellini but the girls have wasted a lot of pasta and still not able to serve it

SERVING CHALLENGE: HK is now open for customers. G. Ramsay have given them orders from their customers. The boys got their first serving but the girls repeated the menu for the eigth time. G. Ramsay tasted their pasta and he said it’s uncooked and Melinda throw it immediately in the thrash can. G. Ramsay begun to ask why she threw it. G. Ramsay inspected the thrash can and saw how they wasted the pasta. Girls are not doing fine and even the salmon is frozen. Amanda put the salmon in the freezer instead in the fridge. Lovely went out from the kitchen and drinks four bottles of water for 45 minutes because she feels hydrated and after that she went back. But girls still getting mistakes and cannot serve any dish at all.

NOMINATED FOR ELIMINATION: Melinda and Amanda

ELIMINATED: Louie Cordio and Melinda Meaney

Louie was thrown out in the competition because of too many errors while they were doing their challenge. Aside from that G. Ramsay doesn’t like his signature dish “Sausage Gravy Over Biscuits”. G. Ramsay have to eliminate him because of this. Aside from this, Robert Hesse was called in to replace Louie’s position but he will join the red team to strengthen the said team. Robert is a cheftestant on Hell’s Kitchen Season 5 but because he suddenly collapse on set due to his illness, he have to go out from Hell’s Kitchen competition.
