Hell’s Kitchen Season 6 Episode 5
Lovely, Executive Chef of Children’s Camp, took her exit in HK6 Episode 4. Tek was given another chance to prove that she’s still competent. Tek knows that her team and G. Ramsay’s eyes will focus on her performance so she should not commit the same mistakes again on their next serving challenge. But now that Lovely was out in the red team, would that make any difference?
HK6 Updates:
Serving delicious meal to a marine sergeant is an honor so today, Mrs. Natasha James, wife of Staff Sergeant Otis James, is there guest. They will have to prepare one stunning appetizer and two on trays. Suzanne and Robert are their representatives. They went upstairs to interview Mrs. James of the the style of food she and her husband wanted to eat, and their likes and dislikes. Robert and Suzanne need to listen very well and convey those ideas to their team mates. Mrs. James said that her husband is a big seafood fan. She said that he likes shrimps and baked potatoes. They like Southern cooking. Suzanne asked what kind of dish they can’t leave without at this party. Mrs. James answered that it would be grilled lobsters. Now that Suzanne and Robert have nothing to ask they went downstairs to cook dishes. They were given 45 minutes to serve the dishes. Both teams must come up with a tasting menu consisting on one appetizers and two on-trays and the winning team’s dishes will be served in the homecoming party. Robert and Suzanne have different approach in conveying ideas with their team mates. Robert has collaborative style of leadership. As what Kevin said Robert gave them a clear cut direction. He was impressed because Robert is directing them and not dictating. Suzanne on the other hand, has a different approach. She gave them the structure and all they need is to execute it.
The time is up. Dishes will be served to G. Ramsay and Mrs. James. Ariel and Kevin served the appetizers. Ariel introduced their Ceasar style salad while Kevin introduced their spicy seafood style bouillabaisse. Mrs. James chose the ceasar style salad so one point goes to the girls team. Amanda introduced their bacon wrapped filet with the grilled shrimp dish and Andy introduced their pork cheese macaroni with buttermilk fried catfish. This time, Mrs. James chose the blue team’s dish. Since they were now on tie, it’s the leaders turn to show their final dish. Suzanne introduced their broiled lobster-tail with seafood demati pasta with a light white wine seafood sauce. Robert introduced their “bone-in New York Strip that is served with twice baked potato mashed and a grilled lobster tail.
WINNER: Blue Team
Suzanne forgot the main dish that Mr. and Mrs. James would love to eat and that’s the “grilled lobster.” Since the blue team won in this challenge, as a reward, they will experienced to be a pilot in fighter jets. Men loves fighter jets and they said that they will finally have their childhood dream. Meanwhile the girls were going to prepare the Hell’s Kitchen for the homecoming party with the assistance of G. Ramsay’s wife, Mrs. Tana Ramsay.
The boys went back to Hell’s Kitchen. The girls need to rely with the boys for their dishes were chosen by Mrs. James. But it seems that the boys are not giving the step by step procedure. they seems to be sabotaging the girls.
SERVING CHALLENGE:
Staff Sergeant Otis James was surprised by the homecoming party prepared by Hell’s Kitchen. He was surprised that all his family and friends were there. He became even happier when he saw her mother. Both teams are now ready for their serving challenge. But it seems that the red team got a big problem. Blue team is working perfectly. But the red team is in trouble. Even though the red team, have finally served all their appetizers, blue team is almost finish with their on-trays. Tek undercook and overcook steaks stopped their momentum. G. Ramsay scolded her and now everyone was working on her station. But still the steaks are not perfect. G. Ramsay is pissed now. The guests with the red plates were not looking good and they were wishing they have the blue plates. G. ramsay called the boys to take charge in the red team’s kitchen. It was embarrassing.
NOMINATED FOR ELIMINATION: Red Team: Tek and and Tennille.
Tennille stood in front of G. Ramsay and said that she didn’t deserve to be there. She said that it should be Amanda. G. Ramsay called Amanda and she puts Tennille back with the other remaining chefs. Amanda cried. And she said that she can still handle it and she’s still stronger. G. Ramsay send Tek back home.
